Well, the three aren't that abstract either (except elements on the elephant sample & floating castle). It all depends on the amount of steampunk-ness involved.
I think the problem with this image is not the concept but the finishing. Water and the associated caustics is something that takes dedication and time to master. This is a huge undertaking that demands encouragement on the part of the critics. I believe in this art.
