Hi! I'm happy with the dawn/day version; however the dusk/night ones doesn't look that cute; more like just a more contrasted version (without keeping colors) of the original ones. [0]
If I had to choose one of those, I would go with the Day version. Probably a couple of highlights in some boxes would work, or even set a small cat inside one of those like a "let the user find where the cat is" stuff, however; the wallpaper looks good to me. I'm not sure if there was a further discussion about it since once I submitted some mockups based on this base design [1], I had to go afk for a couple of months due personal stuff.
