Thanks for the reply. Coming to think about it a little more: Why not inverting the template icons - but dont make it black and white, but the colour of type of aplication and white. Then adjust both to have the same brightness (perhaps dont use black in the document icon at all?). This way colour could even be used as an secondary hint for the type of aplication next to the icon, use in both template and document. I would really like to see that for one icon :) - perhaps a grafically more gifted person than me gives it a try?
