Well Done!
Well Done!
Well Done!

I could go on. You guys rock on the GUI Team!

The new LO icon sets are excellent. And so is the other branding work and website. I can't wait for what you'll do for the rest of the suite. Just don't do a ribbon theme please! Something like IBM Symphony is much nicer and actually functional, unlike the ribbon.

In contrast to Apple, Open Source Software usually means an ugly, unfriendly user experience. Ugly visually and unfriendly with insanely awful, cryptic application naming. Ugh, really, GNU? KThis, Kthat, KEverything? Are you serious? Only a drug induced hacker would say thumbs up to these names! It turns off new users because of the rude, nerdy, complicated feel.

Open Office.org, from the start, suffered from and abused users with a terrible suite name, stupid logo/mascot, sickly color scheme, oh-so 90's-GUI and brutal website. Even their refreshed color scheme was insipid.

Thank you for going against the tide of poor graphic design. It gives so much credibility to a great application and honors the unseen developer effort. It says you are here to stay. It exudes confidence.

Well done indeed! Make LO a pleasant UX!
