Hello,
first of all: It looks like we will very soon reach the 50k, probably
even today. I will work on the website to adapt it, but if we had a new
banner, that would be very cool. :-) I guess if we have a "we reached
100%" banner, less people will click or donate, but donations for future
budgets would be wonderful.

Thanks for the blog! Exactly what was needed for LibreOffice to
communicate to the outside world. Awesome article. I am sure this will
be quickly picked up by many media outlets. The fact that the amount
is/was reached at such a high pace is a great show of support from
outside communities.
Thanks a lot for the kind words, and thanks of course to everyone who
worked on making this happen! It was a real great team effort, and I am
proud of what we all managed!
The part in the blog that is most important now is for what the excess
money will be used. You provided good information on this. Not only
that, the articles provides just about any other question that people
will have about the funds Really great.
:-)
I will try to add some more upcoming money needs, so people get a clear
overview. We're transparent, that's important.
I now that I keep harping on this but ... banners for external websites,
in different sizes would be appreciated too. They should be posted on
our wiki pages and advertised as available on our website for visitor
download. (I would think sizes that are compatible with left/right
website blocks (columns) would be the ones that would be most sought
after).
I absolutely agree. Christoph and Bernhard made a great design for a
website banner in German already that's in the wiki.
