Hi Gaël, Additionally, please feel free to look at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Presentation_Templates which has the beginning structure of a working page for the Impress Backgrounds. I started an effort to critique the current templates and propose a structure to update the default templates to provide as many functional backgrounds as possible. The work has been delayed but if you are interested in helping please let us know.
