Hi all! Sorry for commenting a bit late, but my vacation just ended ... so I'm back and crawling through my mails (during the last days).

Well, personally I think that is another issue - there are some similar problems that drive people drive nuts with regard to multi-page views. Andrew, there may be issues with the zoom slider. If done properly, there could even be some difference between "setting the zoom via the slider" (limiting the default zoom level) and "setting it via number entry" (providing a larger zoom range). For those who might work on improvement proposals, here is an (extensive) list of what we've collected in the OOo UX team. If some tiny issues could be resolved (e.g. by providing a good description how it should work), then this would be very helpful: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Zoom_Slider#Design_and_User_Experience_issues Cheers, Christoph > On 08/29/2011 01:39 AM, Andrew Pullins wrote: > > well I can kinda see how some one could use it but I just wanted to talk > > about the centering mostly. like I said it is stupid. > > > > On Mon, Aug 29, 2011 at 3:43 AM, Cedric Bosdonnat< > > [email protected]> wrote: > > > >> On Sun, 2011-08-28 at 21:37 -0400, Andrew Pullins wrote: > >>> why does LibreOffice writer even have a 600% zoom.
