Hello I’m going to introduce my self. I’m Hugo, from Portugal. I’m not a programmer, just a user that use LO at home and office. But I’m very interested in making LO the best office suite.
First of all, forgive my English. Well, I have been using LO since Staroffice. I have seen the progress and I'm very happy to see the excelent work you have done. Congratulations. But you cannot stop for thinking only in the icons. If there’s a desire for making LO more appealing, first you need to think on where it will run. I mean, till now the desktop was the only kind of computer. But now, there are tabblets, smartphones and desktop pcs with touchscreen. So if you are planning to make something more appealing, you should think on making all the interface ideal for “finger use”, and not for mouse. I am afraid of being misunderstood, but windows 8 and office 15 will be ready for tabblets and for fingers, so this is the time for making taht change in LO. I now it's a radical change, but what the hell, do you want to be the dealer or the follower? I already have a king of interface wish, so if this idea needs to developed, you can count with me.
