I'm using Blender from time to time. Doing this shouldn't be too hard. I
just tries to import the logo as svg and that works.

LibreOffice comes to life, there's no harm in starting a thread to design
its icon. Note that we will most likely only need the generic LibreOffice

should have a slight perspective as if viewed from above. A while ago,
Pablo José made some nice wallpapers in Blender using the LibreOffice icons
(@ http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Wallpapers) -- perhaps we
could simply tweak those?
