Just thought of something, i get it's pretty hard to make a full version for W8, but how about we just make little adaptations so LO can get to the marketplace, which again, i think is a great opportunity for LO.
The only really critical part is to move a few commands to the "charms bar" these are: Search, share, devices and settings. Search can be used to find words in the document or maybe even to navigate to specific pages. Share can be used to send the file through e-mail ot to other applications such as IM services. Devices can be used to print the file or send it to other devices (not sure of which other devices. Settings would be almost every setting you can change in the program, this is the hardest part. Doing this would greatly improve the experience for Windows users and it doesn't require as much manpower as redoing the whole UI and code. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/design/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
