Sorry I'm very busy these times, but speedy I give you my two cents : I hate Tango (it's horrible, really) but I thought we decided it would be it our "favorite" icon theme. it's the freedesktop one it's seems normal to use it, until we have the flat icon set (which will be, I think, really better). If icons are missing, we decided we should propose them upstram ( http://tango.freedesktop.org/) correct me if I'm wrong.
