Hi Alex, I have some differences of opinion with the proposal. Could we vote on the following: a) The primary color of the remote (I'd prefer orange because it is the main Impress color) b) Having a randomly-chosen PIN instead of a chosen one (would simplify the workflow quite a bit, imho) c) Giving the computer selection on the "Options" screen instead of the overflow menu d) Having a nicer "Enter PIN" dialog (at least with "Enter PIN" centered). Should we do this in the style of the "Open Problems" voting we had? What do you think? Also, there are some oddities that I've found: a) The "choose a computer", "Set PIN", and "Options" screens should have their title displayed in the action bar, next to the Impress remote icon. It doesn't really have sense to have the "slide overview" button, the timer, and the overflow menu on those screens, especially as when choosing the computer and setting the PIN, there is no presentation loaded yet. b) There's no "Connect" button needed on the "Choose a computer" screen. Tapping the computer name should connect to the computer automatically. c) Every screen should have both a landscape and a portrait mode (including the slide overview), which don't really constitute different views. > > If everyone is fine with that I'd commment out the Proposals etc. > Please don't. These things might be useful somehow in the future -- that's why we even keep an archive of finished whiteboards. > > Alex > -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/design/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
