Crazy suggestion: the gallery as it stands is useless for many people today. But what if we could turn it into a web gallery connecting to specific services: pinterest, Flickr? You can beat me if you won't like the idea, I'm just at marketeer :-) . It might open the door to interesting monetization options as well.
