there are several things we did and plan to do. First, the Windows-specific theme for LibreOffice (look of the toolbars etc.) has been changed to make it fit better into a Metro environment. The icon theme used on Mac OS has been changed to Tango so that we use the same one on all desktop platforms, which makes is easier to make progress. Currently I'm working on replacing some of the non-tango icons with new versions. Also our branding will be revised for the next version. We aim for flat colors and overall a swiss style design.
