Incidentally, I was about to post a mail about the chat and topics up for
discussion.
We should post one every week, so that a) we know what to talk about in
advance, b) newcomers to the mailing list find out about the IRC chat.

Improved color handling would be nice, but I don't think we have a willing
developer yet.
However, we should resume working on the whiteboard so that we're ready
when there is a willing developer.

Could you post an example of a blue vs. gray icon?
LibreOffice screenshots of the icons under a light and dark theme would be

Perhaps this might be better fit for the ux-advise list, though, as
developers will be working on redoing the dialogs in Glade as well.
