Hi Wim, I created an Issue at Freedomsponsors for this: http://www.freedomsponsors.org/core/issue/209/advanced-printing-capabilities-of-comments
There you can offer some money for the person who implements this. You pay only, when it's completed. If you can afford, you can of course contract a developer or a company offering development services around LibreOffice. Then you might write to the Development Mailing list.

Dear Design Team of LibreOffice! I am not sure, whether this is the right contact to post my suggestion, but probably you can forward it, if needed. LibreOffice/OpenOffice I use now for about ten year in academia environment and I really appreciate the achievements you have reached so far. But there is one missing feature I really get upset about for these many years: the missing ability to print comments next to the text (and not at the end of the document). It is such a critical and central feature you need urgently in every collaborative situation. Here is the fitting bug report page I found: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36815 . I really wonder, that the developers of LO concentrate on many minor issues like bullet points in the note section, but neglect the central ones that are neccessary to use LO at all. (Now I always have to open my Writer documents in Word to be able to print the comments. So, everyone else would stick to Word in such a situation.) Please help!!! With best regards, Wim Schwerdtner
