A totally blank Python toolbar / sidebar could eventually be filled in and useful. What will be somewhat of a waste is this: http://www.freedomsponsors.org/core/issue/175/new-libreoffice-ui. Someone could build that using Matus's work, but without a better design starting point, some of their time will be wasted.
