As per my bug submission
<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73889> , do you mind if we
talk about small ways in which the UI can be improved with little code
change?

Three things I had in mind were:
* Add a larger icon for show/hide sidebar.
* Default black background for toolbar, white flat icons.
* Try and improve sidebar's responses to resizing. An ideal response would
be like the GIMP toolbar and this affects multi-document editing. An ideal
solution would also be a tabbed interface but this would require coding
voodoo I suspect.
