Ok. That makes a lot of sense. Thanks!

Three more comments/suggestions on the Start Center:

1) It is a shame that the Start Center is only available for opening the
first document in a work session. (Unfortunately the only way I see it being
more useful is if LibreOffice had a multi-tabbed interface where the Start
Center would be the first tab...)

2) It would be nice if the Start Center worked consistently: it takes a
single click to open any document in the Recent Files but it takes a
double-click to open any template folder or template. I don't see any reason
why it should require a double-click...

3) It would be more intuitive to replace the "All Templates" text button
with a large visible back arrow

I can submit enhancement reports if you (Design team) think any of these
suggestions makes sense/is doable...

Regards,
Pedro
