Encourage ValueSet to render a legend as well as an icon.

Shorten transition group names to make them better legends.
It now looks more like the attached; hopefully its an improvement. Then
again - the sizing of that widget / side-bar is pretty irritating, with
a few more pixels (in English) it would wrap more nicely.
