1: There should be option to remove the system title-bar on Linux.
This makes many user unhappy. Well, not the option :-)
The request is on Bugzilla at
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115512
2: Users should be able to move/arrange the tabbed toolbar/ribbon to all four
sides of the screen.
You typically can move classic toolbars, but the Notebookbar as implemented (and
known for other tools) is static. And while I doubt that common displays or
rather the typical window size provides enough space for all the commands, I
could imagine an alternative UI that has controls on the left/right side. But
then, reading the UI labels would be not so convenient anymore (except for
languages that run from top to bottom).
3: Users should be able to color every tab of the toolbar/ribbon as they like.
The colors could be selected from pre-defined set.
Why would anyone prefer different tab colors? It should follow the system theme
or provide the necessary feedback for hover, active, disabled, etc. states.
Top bars and ribbons waste a lot of space on widescreen monitors. Rearranging
and removing unwanted elements will provide more working space.
Our Tabbed Notebookbar takes less space than Microsoft Office, at least.
