You know what, I did say that in my first post and I'm taking it back. I was wrong. There's indeed plenty of tweaks that can perfectly live in a preference panel and make the app more customizable and enjoyable to use. I think Alec's examples convinced me that my initial "no prefs" stance was incorrect.

I still think we should have as little as possible and think hard when putting something there though. I promise to be on the lookout for those sneaky prefs... ;)
