This
is a follow up to the previous e-mail I sent out about a place holder
Scooby logo.
I've heard from a handful of people to go ahead and produce option #1 (see options in e-mail below). As it turns out (like most artwork) it was not as easy to mimic *exactly* the same logo as Cosmo, even with the source files. So based on the Cosmo logo, I went ahead and recreated the Cosmo logo and created a new logo for Scooby. The Cosmo logo looking *exactly* as the original, but with *very* subtle changes (ie. alignment, kerning, etc.). New Scooby logo to look identical to the Cosmo logo. Please review the files: http://wiki.osafoundation.org/bin/view/Journal/PlaceHolderLogo In addition, the source files of both logos are now in a vector format and will be easier to resize, reproduce on the web, and if need be, print. And as a reminder this is a place holder logo until a more comprehensive branding effort gets underway for a full OSAF product suite. So, once the logos are reviewed, please respond to the 'design' list only please!!! 1. Take it. Replace all Cosmo logos and add Scooby logo. OR 2. Leave it. Leave existing Cosmo logo as is, and no Scooby logo. Thank you! -Priscilla *Note: There was an e-mail sent before this one w/ the files attached, this was before I realized there was a size limit to the mailing lists.
