I find that I sometimes want as many as 4 reminders for some calendar events- a week before, a day before, an hour before, and 10 minutes before. It's pretty infrequent that I would like to go that far... but it does happen for certain very important events. It is true that quite often I want 2 reminders- 1 hr before and 10 minutes before.
Certainly there is a work-around now- just keep updating the reminder time as each reminder happens. But that gets pretty tedious as you can imagine.
