I took a brief hiatus from Chandler whilst playing with Google's calendar bugware, and waiting for the next milestone, which I just installed.

Quick question, and this may already be well-settled:
Is the "My Calendar" name going to stick, rather than Cosmo account name? I outlined before how this gets confusing, particularly when a single user shares his/her calendar between multiple machines. Just hoping to avoid the "My" thing, and to have simplified way of accessing/updating my calendar wherever I am.

I can't answer this entirely right at the moment. We are planning to make some changes around the use of the My collections in 0.7. We are also working on some changes to our sharing format. There are a bunch of existing bug fixes that provide confusion (ie: published shares that fail are hanging around of the server). Once we cleanup all of this, we can re-evaluate and figure out what's changed and what still might be confusing. We are focussing our efforts on performance work for Alpha3 so you won't see most of this stuff materialize until Alpha4.

Also, one distinction b/w me sharing my calendar on two machines, and me sharing it with another person on another machine with full read/write access--they still aren't logged in as me, and would not have the right to remove that collection.

I am not sure I follow. If you are sharing your calendar on 2 machines, does this mean your Chandler looks like it has published that collection on both machines? I assume that in the second case you have simply subscribed to the collection on the other Chandler.

Cheers,

Jim
