Forwarding to the design list for further discussion.

In Chandler, we're able to specify HSV values to programmatically draw the gradient. Given that we're not targeting the Desktop user for the Cosmo UI, we probably don't need to be hyper-meticulous about matching calendar colors.

We can probably live with a smaller number of colors for Cosmo UI. Maybe 3-5?

Mimi,

Where is the styles.conf file? Is that in the Chandler source tree?

Also, I'm not sure if you remember or not, but the lozenges in the Web UI are done with image-gradient backgrounds. Is this different from the way it's done in Chandler? Are we going to try to implement all nine different lozenges in the Web UI?

FYI, the new calendar lozenges have been implemented for Chandler desktop. The styles.conf file has all of the colors and HSV values. There are 9 total. You can pretty much ignore the 'Overlaid' calendar colors. :o)

Implemented in r11424, Mimi please let me know if I've missed anything that
ought to be done in alpha4.
