Yes, that is the behavior we'd like to have. It's good to know you
tried out the Dashboard and very useful to know that the lack of this
feature got in your way.

I've come across this same issue and mostly because of it have
stopped using the Dashboard. Maybe Chandler should delay autofiling
until the selection changes? This way the user can triage an item,
and have it autofile only after moving on to the next one.
