Just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page...we're only
starting to pull together a list of all the UI elements we're going
to have for Cosmo UI in the Preview release. We're also still
figuring out exactly which set of workflows we're going to go after:
Item sharing or Dashboard sharing.
What the UI will look like, layout, widgets, visual design will
naturally fall out of these decisions. As a result, we are definitely
undecided as to what Cosmo UI will actually look like.
Priss and I are working on mocking up alternatives in parallel with
higher level strategy discussions.
Open issues include, but are not limited to:
+ Does the sidebar persist in both Calendar and Dashboard views?
(assuming we build out the Dashboard)
+ Do we implement a list of collections in the sidebar in place of
the pulldown menu we have today?
+ Do we support adding and removing collections?
+ How does the user subscribe to individual collections with
Chandler, iCal and/or as Feeds?
