Hi,
The idea of single sing-in has always been attractive to me and
having an Open Source effort following that idea is good news.
I came across this during some blog reading:
http://www.myopenid.com/
Could that be used for Cosmo sign-in and solve some of our privacy
policies?
Is it a solution that has already been considered among Cosmo folks?
Also those guys did present at OSCON 2006. Did anyone see their
presentation?
Oddly enough, there was a thread on this in cosmo-dev yesterday:

It's probably possible for us to use OpenID as a means of
authenticating Cosmo users. At the moment the specs for additional
identity information (they use the term profile) is still under
development. I've been working with some of the OpenID folks
because I am a mentor of the Apache Heraldry project, which is a
collection of OpenID related code.
Another thing that I was interested in was tieing the (future)
Chandler address book to identities like OpenID (and others) to give
Chandler the benefit of this kind of functionality, especially for
OpenID enabled "Web 2.0" services. So many ideas, so little time.
