Ranking definitely isn't working for me on the trunk, but perhaps I'm
seeing different behavior from you. I just did another search, and a
nagging suspicion was confirmed: The sort I'm seeing is by creation
time, with spurious linearly degrading ranking being rendered.
This is
running r13076 on Win32. Perhaps something's off on Windows?
That's interesting. I just tried the above test on XP and got the
same result as I did before on Mac. I used revision 13079. This
example doesn't seem like it's sorted by creation time.
Can you try the example above and see if you get a different result
than I do?
