Doing some list gardening.
Are there any other thoughts on this issue. Currently the proposal is
to:
1) Add tooltips to expose the URL on links in the Accounts dialog.
2) Tracking related accessibility issues in https://
bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8021 Ultimately, we will
need to find a way to expose these URLs from the keyboard.

Oops Heikki, your message to the list got misfiled.
I agree that we need to make this work for non-mouse usage as well.
However, can we put this to post-Preview? The dialogs we have for
Preview are 'temporary' and we just want to keep them as clean as
possible until we can expend more energy on making the whole
account-filling-out experience more usable.
I amended this bug: https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/
show_bug.cgi?id=8021 'Can't tab to hyperlinks in Accounts dialog'
to say that we need to have a solution that allows non-mouse users
to see the URLs we're taking them to.
In the meantime is there any objection to having tooltips for mouse
users?

I presented a workaround for all of these issues: show the full
URL as
the hyperlink. Even if there are bugs that break clicking and
tabbing,
the user can still manually type the URL in their browser. And
users
will immediately see where the link will go without needing to
click it.
Another idea would be to set the URL as the tool tip for the
hyperlink
widget.
That works only in the case where you are using a mouse.
