One more idea for this one:
I realized today that the presence of multiple <link rel="alternate"
type"some-feed-type"> elements in a page make the "feed icon" in the
url bar display a drop down menu that allows you to choose a feed to
subscribe to (see http://www.npr.org/ for an example).
We could make it so that a user's /cosmo/pim page contains <link>
elements pointing to each of a user's collections and/or
subscriptions to take advantage of this functionality. Clicking on
the "feed icon" would make Firefox create a drop-down menu containing
all of that user's collections and subscriptions, and clicking on one
would bring up the nice "subscribe using" page. This would require a
little server side work, but probably not much, maybe a couple hours.
That said, I share Brian's sentiment that a link would be nicer in
the collection dialog :)
Any thoughts?

Since the recent browsers seem to be pretty smart about feeds, you
could just:
1) Use the bookmarkable URL to go to the office calendar
2) single-click on the "subscribe to the live bookmark" icon at the
right side of the URL in the address field of the Navigation Bar in
Firefox, or the RSS icon in the same location in Safari
sure, but that doesn't mean that my comment is invalid :D
