Hmm. It's possible that users would share the "needs reply" flag. Would this be something we could track and see if users would use?

My question might be more about terminology and I'm wondering if 'needs reply status' is the correct term to use. I personally wouldn't have a clue what 'needs reply' means looking down the list, if I didn't already know about the feature.

For example, when I'm going through my e-mail box, I usually select the little red 'flag' icon for e-mails where I 'need to reply'. If someone else sets the 'needs reply' for me I'd get confused about what I set vs. what someone else set. How do I know what are my priorities are vs the collective priorities?

In a small group collaboration, if this is an option, I would would like to identify who is actually 'flagging' the item which 'needs reply'. I would set different colored flags to identify who is who. Or at least one color which I know is mine and perhaps another color to indicate another user has 'flagged' the item which 'needs reply'.

In the short term, for small group collaboration, one may just have to rely on users to indicate that they have changed the status in the event details description box.

Moving discussion to design list since we're talking about workflows now :)

What if it's an optional attribute like Triage status? I can imagine a spouse pair wanting to share needs reply status for a spouse email account. Or PPD might want to share needs reply status on design list emails. There are scenarios for this, but not a priority for Preview if it's tricky. There's also the scenario of 2 admins managing requests together etc.

Thx, Mimi
