Mimi already mentioned something about these, but perhaps it wasn't as clear as it could have been. The RSS, Flickr, Amazon etc. plugins are meant to inspire other developers to the possibilities of writing their own plugins to Chandler. We have a tutorial on getting started on Chandler (plugin) development as well, where the sample plugins play a role. The sample plugins we provide are really tiny and not polished enough for every day use, and as such developing them was not a big resource drain. -- Heikki Toivonen
