After reviewing the recurrence spec with Priscilla, we uncovered a
couple of scenarios that were missing from the spec, namely:
+ Stamping and Unstamping recurring events to Add/Remove them from
the Task list and Calendar
Task-ness
* Users should be able to stamp/unstamp recurring events to Add/
Remove [All events], [Future events] or [Just this event] from the
Task list. https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7661
Event-ness
* Users should be able to stamp/unstamp recurring events to Add/
Remove [All events], [Future events] or [Just this event] from the
Calendar. https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7446

Since the 0.6 Recurrence was written, there has been a dizzying
array of subtle nuances worked out and new scenarios and behaviors
implemented.
I have attempted to capture all of these here: http://
wiki.osafoundation.org/Journal/PreviewRecurrenceSpec with links to
bugs, list discussions and specs.
This is hopefully useful for 2 reasons:
+ As an artifact for Testing; and to
+ Communicate how Recurrence works on the Desktop to the Cosmo Team
One specific question to answer:
+ Will there be any inconsistencies between the Desktop and the
Server UI that will result in design and/or engineering bugs?
+ What are some others?
Jeffrey and Grant, please review as you know better than I the edge-
cases and minute details re: Recurrence.
