Yup. Me too, will post the list to a wiki page.
+ Pagination nav - Is it enough to just say << [1] of 13 >> where
[1] is editable by the user.
I think so. I took what I mapped out earlier for the Admin UI. Do you
think it would be useful to have both the Admin & web UI consistent?
Remaining open issues:
+ Pull together a proposal for Removing / Deleting /
Unsubscribing / Unpublishing
Are you doing this or am I doing this now? I don't want to step on
each others toes. I'm more then happy for you to take this unless
you're busy w/ other stuff?
+ Follow-up with Bobby re: Time zones workflows for Preview to
finalize UI proposal
So we were both correct. You can't reliably inherit time zone from
the browser, but there are some time zone information that is
inherited from the browser/desktop computer. So yes, we do need the
time zone alert bar to inform the user in ticket view that there is
time zone information in the collection being viewed.
Br offered to write something up to explain time zones and send it
(again!) to the design list. There are just some tricky details which
is hard for me to articulate.
+ What was our next action for Recurrence? I can't remember.
So hopefully when Jeffrey is feeling better, we will continue our
discussion on recurrence with the server team. I think we're going to
ask if Jeffrey could help document the *master* rules wiki page for
both the desktop and web UI. PPD will provide support for Jeffrey.
The proposal for the web UI is to do what we can based on the
desktop. Let the server team figure out what the limitations are to
meet preview, such as displaying the one instance of a recurring
event in the dashboard. PPD will work closely with the server team
and propose to have regular UI review (on the Thursday meeting time
slot) when recurrence work is checked in to make sure that is the
behavior we're expecting. In the meantime we're also working on
documenting that master rules wiki page._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
