Thanks Davor, I have ccd myself on all the bugs you reference and as I get more up to speed I hope to reduce the overlap.

(Great minds think alike, what can I say!) > [Robin Cottiss] I still do not know the difference between Delete and Remove buy I was imagining right clicking on an item (in the detail list or dashboard) and toggling a Show in Dashboard setting. I would not expect a delete key to perform this action... but then again what is the difference between remove and delete? >> I would like to select text in the notes field of items and stamp them >> (as tasks, notes, events or messages) > >So this text would become something like a new item but would still be >contained inside the original one? I think OmniFocus does >this very nicely. [Robin Cottiss] Well I wasn't thinking that far ahead. I would be happy with just an new item. I was imagining making some quick notes on a new task and realizing that these notes needed to be items in their own right. By grouping items and building relationships you open all sorts of possibilities. I use Mind Mapping software a lot (MindManager) and indeed there is a lot of overlap between PIM, Brainstorming and Note Taking. I am starting to think about a way to transfer tasks from MindManager to Chandler. Is there an open import/export spec yet? Would it be a Plugin? _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Open Source Applications Foundation "Design" mailing list http://lists.osafoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/design
