So it's also an issue of dynamically adjusting what we display based on available real-estate. Also, if/when we pull off multi-week views, users can 'zoom in' on 2-3 week periods which should provide more room to display all-day / multi-day events.

Still, probably shouldn't delay getting out a rudimentary month view for this.

Odd.  My version of iCal strictly limits the number of all-day events
displayed to 2 in month-view.  What version of iCal are you using?

iCal's limit on the # of all-day events is directly proportional to the height of the window. Stretching my iCal window to ~1200 pixels tall allows me to see 7 all-day events.
