Your example only pays attention to matches with a single match, i.e. you activate them right away and don't see a list of actions. With more then one action, I can activate it right away, too, of course. But when I activate one of the additional actions what should the icon be then? The one of the match or the one of the action? My problem is that the user can activate an action in two different ways: 1) Just clicking on a match (default action) 2) Displaying the list of actions and selecting an action there But most of the time the match has a different icon than all the actions. The action's icon is displayed in history, because 1) silently activates the default action. Would the actions have the same icon as the match, the icon would be useless for the actions, because it doesn't give any additional information. The only thing that might be useful is that the icon of the default action has the icon of match, but I'm not sure if this would only cause even more confusion. - -- Greetings, Sebastian Pölsterl -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHIe7z1ygZeJ3lLIcRAsbZAKCKRVcEfm1gFI1Ru/NXkD388z8yUgCgplzP F/DcQsnJmLRDHwcClmmhJYI= =w+nn -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ deskbar-applet-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/deskbar-applet-list
