Hi. I have a problem with the installation of Deskbar 2.24.2. This version
of the software isn't in the Ubuntu repositories (at least), and can not be
upgraded.
I decide download the source and compile it, but I have this output when i
type 'sudo ./configure':
--
checking for headers required to compile python extensions... found
checking for DESKBAR... configure: error: Package requirements (gtk+-2.0
>= 2.12
pygtk-2.0 >= 2.12
pygobject-2.0 >= 2.12
gnome-python-2.0 >= 2.10
gnome-desktop-2.0 >= 2.10
dbus-python >= 0.80.2
) were not met:
No package 'gnome-desktop-2.0' found
Package dbus-1 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `dbus-1.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
Package 'dbus-1', required by 'dbus-python', not found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables DESKBAR_CFLAGS
and DESKBAR_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

How could notify administrators repositories or just how to install the
latest stable version of Deskbar??
Greetings, Cristobal.
P.D. Sorry for my English, is very basic (I speak spanish).
