Ubuntu | nautilus
Summary: Nautilus deletes originally opened directory instead of
selected file (xine interaction)
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: nautilus
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
QAContact: [email protected]
I put a bunch of old restored files in /home/kevin/Desktop/filezzzz. I then
opened this folder and began viewing, moving (by dragging to other Nautilus
windows), and deleting files.
If I view a video file from /home/kevin/Desktop/filezzzz or a subdirectory
thereof, close xine, focus the Nautilus window, and press delete, it is not the
video file that gets moved to .Trash, but /home/kevin/Desktop/filezzzz. This
occurs no matter how deeply nested the video file is, and is 100% repeatable.
It does NOT occur after viewing other types of files.
Good thing I noticed this before emptying the trash, or I would have lost a lot
of important files!
