------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-01-01 21:52 UTC ------- I have found that in my case at least the desktop corruption disappears if I switch to using a solid colour as a desktop instead of an image - so it appears that the problem is related to displaying the desktop wallpaper. However, the blanking screen remains.
