I don't understand - while the device is mounted, you get /dev/sda1 =
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_uuid_3183_BC82, and if it's unmounted, you
have /dev/sda = /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/storage_model_BAR, which looks
pretty reasonable to me. What's wrong with this?
This output seems to reflect what I thought: There is only the storage device
without device nodes, so it looks a bit like a cdrom. So maybe drives with type
'harddrive' should never ever be displayed? It's important to display cdrom
drives, but it doesn't make sense for hotpluggable or even static hard drives.
What do you think?
