Ubuntu | gnome-menus
Summary: "Applications" menu disappears immediately after you
click on it.
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-menus

I don't see a form field for "distribution", but this is a bug in Dapper.
As of a few days ago (2005/01/06 or so) the Applications menu in GNOME stopped
working for me completely.
It pops up, but then immediately (~50ms) it shrinks to an empty 6x6px grey box.
The menu is "still there" ("Applications" remains highlighted, mouse focus is
still on the menu bar) but all the items are gone.
This happens with both the "Main Menu" and "Menu Bar" panel components.
It also happens regardless of user. If I create a fresh user and log in it also
happens for that user.
