Ubuntu | gnome-screensaver

Summary: Screensaver flashes and cannot lockup screen
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: amd64
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-screensaver
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
         QAContact: [email protected]

After locking the screen with "gnome-screensaver-command --lock" (using the
"gnome feet" screensaver) the display fades into black as expected but then
stays black and doesn't respond to keypresses and mouse activity; once per
second the feet flash into screen for small part of a second, just to disappear
again; I have to kill the screensaver in another VT using "killall
gnome-screensaver" on order to lockup my screen. I have attached the
debug-output from "gnome-screensaver --no-daemon --debug" to this bug.

gnome-screensaver is version 0.0.24.
