Before an upgrade to the latest dapper package, the gnome battery applet was
displaying the battery charge information correctly, now, since usinb
0.5.5.1-4ubuntu1 it display 0%/ac power no matter what I do. using
hal-device-manager, I see it has the
battery.charge_level.design 47520
but
battery.charge_level.current 0
also various of the other hal properties look incorrect (like the discharging
one)
(Laptop is IBM x31)
