Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/31441
Comment: It just occurred to me that the "/ for ubuntu" is probably some kind of disk label. The partition which is currently mounted as /mnt/breezy is indeed "/ for ubuntu" when I boot into breezy - it's the partition which I originally installed warty onto. I've since installed dapper onto a different partition, which I assume is also now labelled as "/ for ubuntu". I wasn't booted into breezy when I saw the warning, however, and so the partition it was warning about wasn't "/" at all, but was "/mnt/breezy" at that time. It would be clearer if gnome-volume-manager would refer to the mount point of the filesystem rather than an obscure label which most users are probably unaware of. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
