Comment:
I'm sorry but I have to add another strange result after restarting the system
as opposed to only restarting dbus.
After I change /system/storage/display_internal_hard_drives from false to true
and a restart of dbus, I see only partitions mounted with the option user or
mounted under /media as a icon in places. The partitons are named after their
mountingpoints. This is exactly the same result as in breezy.

When I restart my system with display_internal_hard_drives set to true
right from the start, I get different results. All mounted partitions
are shown in places/on the desk etc. They are also labelled differently,
e.g. 'Harddisk 3,6GB'.

So my real question is: Can I still selectively show only some mounted
partitions as a toplevel item, i.e. an extra icon on the desk or under
"places" or in nautilus tree view in dapper. This was possible up until
breezy.
