Comment: Serpentine is not a Document Oriented Applicaiton. I thought really hard when I started the application and that was the thing that really annoyed me about other major disc-burning application. That is way there is no notion of a "project" like the others have. Version 0.6.9 also registers itself to common playlist, but it should always be regarded as a second class citizen of playlist handlers, since the times you want to record them is by far greater then the times you want to record them. Also creating an interface to accomodate that idea would also encoumber it, making it more complex - way less then the 'save playlist as' dialog. The application currently let's you handle the multiple format in a sane way, just right click on each playlist and open it with Serpentine. That said, regarding to your first proposal of changing how the 'save playlist' dialog should work open to solutions but to a redesign of serpentine to accomodate to document-oriented approach I'm not. PS: I don't want to sound too defensive or anything like that, I want to thank you very much for all the proposals you've made (and the bug reports). -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
