The bug seems to be about the panel menu entry which is masked. It has
been decided that gconf-editor is a poweruser feature
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MenusRevisited). It's easy to unmask by right
clicking on the panel menu label and pick the menu editor. rejecting the
